Many Greens

Green02The colours of June in our yard are green, green and green. There is dark green, and fern green, and forest green. The sun makes light green and mint green and olive green. There is pine green, shamrock green, moss green, myrtle green and mantis green.
Green01There is jade green and emerald green – shining like gems against the big rock. And kelly green where the sun dapples the Solomon Seal leaves. There is bottle green when we find newly risen antiques from the old farm dump pile. There is harlequin green when the jennies are in heat. And screamin’ green when Darby gets green with envy!

So many shades of green. It really does look lush.
