Lexi finished her last shift of chores at Gramma Camp this morning …
… not bad for a three year old! It always impresses me to see the next generation of ‘teacher-farmers’ chipping in here at The Meadow.
This little ‘Mighty Mouse’ was determined to pull the compost sled ON HER OWN to the Bully bin. My heart misses a beat when I see her little form pulling determinedly – that sled weighs more than she does!
Her favourite ‘chore’ by far – is brushing Bella. And Bella loves to be brushed. So it is a cute combination!
When (and only when) we had the donkey chores done would she consider the idea of heading down the highway to go home. She was some happy to be able to take her ‘big brother’ home with her. 😉 It was fun to watch her announce to her dad – all giggles – that she had brought home a present – A BIG BROTHER!!! I believe that three year old heart was seriously watching her father to see if he just might let her keep him. Don’t worry Gramma Sue – I brought him back to the Meadow with me.
